As shown in this tutorial, replacing the brake light switch on a Volkswagen Polo 9n is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, go under the dashboard on the driver's side, then remove the cover panel by unscrewing the relevant screws and locate the switch, which is positioned just above the brake pedal. At this point, rotate it approximately 45 degrees counterclockwise, pull it out of its housing, and disconnect the rear connector. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
