How to Reset the Service Light on Volkswagen Touran

To reset the service light on the Volkswagen Touran - after completing all required services in the service booklet - get into the vehicle, close all doors, and turn on the ignition. There are buttons on the steering wheel that you will use to reset the service. Press the button on the left to scroll through the settings menu until you reach "service": press "ok". You will enter a submenu. Select "reset". Confirm with "ok" and it's done. Many videos show you how to operate using the button on the right of the speedometer, but this is the correct method, and it is much simpler. If you want to check, turn off and then turn on the ignition again.
