Operation: Removing the front shock absorber

To remove the front shock absorber, place the car on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel; then open the hood to access the domes; disconnect the pipes anchored to the supports obtained on the shock absorber casing, unscrew the pin fixing the shock absorber to the hub (there is a sort of clamp) and extract the pin and release the clamp (it may also be necessary to remove the connecting rod to make the suspension go down more easily); accessing the engine compartment, unscrew the nut fixing the shock absorber rod to its support and extract it from its seat.
