Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located outside the cabin, just under the windscreen, on the passenger side; unscrew the fixing screws of the plastic cover, move the seal to remove the cap and extract the old filter; remove any dirt from inside the filter housing, apply the plastic support frame to the new filter and insert it into its housing respecting the direction of the airflow. Then reassemble the cap and the seal. After replacing the cabin air filter, it is recommended to also sanitise the cabin with a suitable spray.
