Replacement of Diesel Filter Cartridge

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005

For this filter replacement, you will need: a T30 Torx spanner, a 10mm ratchet spanner with an extension, and the replacement cartridge with the relevant seals. Replacing the fuel filter is a straightforward operation that should be done regularly to maintain optimal engine performance. Remove the five connected pipes. Carefully lift the cover to access the cartridge. The cartridge can be removed simply by pulling it upwards with some force. Dismantle the filter body and replace the cartridge after thoroughly cleaning the inside of the filter. Close the cover, replacing the rubber seal and correctly positioning the other seals. Fill the filter with diesel or additive and clean up any spilled fuel to prevent fire hazards.
