To be able to replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Golf 6 1.6 TDi you have to open the hood, so that you can access the left side of the engine block. To gain access to this part, it will be necessary to remove some obstruction parts, such as the air filter box: now you can unscrew the central pins of the pulleys to reduce the tension of the belt. It will be necessary to carry out the same operation by removing the front right wheel and unscrewing the pulley pins in its rear part. Once the belt has been removed, it will be possible to replace it with a new spare part.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
