How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Volkswagen Golf 6 1.6 TDi?

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Golf 6 1.6 TDi, open the bonnet to access the left side of the engine block. You will need to remove some obstructive parts, such as the air filter box. Now, unscrew the central pins of the pulleys to reduce the tension on the belt. Perform the same operation by removing the right front wheel and unscrewing the pulley pins at its rear. Once the belt is removed, replace it with a new part.
