Sealing the Cabin Air Duct

If a repair has been made to the cabin air duct that required opening it, i.e., breaking the welds of the plastic components (a utility knife or metal spatula can be used for this), it will be necessary to reseal it after the repair: a very simple solution is to heat the plastic joints (a heat gun or simply a lighter can be used) until the plastic melts, then compress and seal the joint with pliers while the plastic is still warm; this operation should be repeated on each joint.
