How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Tiguan

Detailed instructions - Here’s how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Tiguan: turn off the ignition; press and hold the "0.0 set" button located in the centre of the instrument cluster. Now, turn the ignition back on. The display will show "Reset oil change?" At this point, release the "0.0 set" button. Press the button once more. The service has been reset. To confirm, turn off the ignition and then turn it back on. The engine light will illuminate briefly for a few seconds and then turn off, as it should under normal circumstances.
