This tutorial demonstrates how to remove the rear bumper on a Volkswagen Golf 5, a very simple and quick operation. Start by opening the tailgate, then slightly move the carpet and unscrew the fastening bolts of both rear lights using a 10mm key. Next, pull them out and unscrew the four bolts located at the newly exposed edge. Finally, remove the remaining screws located at the lower edge and inside the wheel arches, then unclip the bumper from the frame. To fit the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
