Differential Oil Replacement Instructions

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic ramp, place a suitable container directly under the differential drain plug, and unscrew it to allow the oil to drain out: it is advisable to also unscrew the side fill plug to facilitate the draining process. During this phase, clean the magnetic tip of the drain plug, as metal debris will likely have adhered to it. Once the oil has drained, re-screw the drain plug and introduce the new oil through the side plug: the level is reached as soon as the oil begins to overflow.
