Replacing the Front Headlight on the Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

To replace the front headlight on the vehicle, follow these steps: open the bonnet and first unscrew the two screws securing the front grille, then unclip the clips that hold the air intake cover at the bottom of the brakes. Next, unscrew the screws securing the wing and all screws that support the bumper. Once all body components are removed, you will have access to the screws securing the headlight and can proceed to remove them (there are four screws located above and below the headlight itself). At this point, you can extract the headlamp unit, but not before disconnecting the electrical connector.
