To replace the heat exchanger on the Volkswagen Jetta 6, loosen the screws that secure the plastic panel on the right side of the driver's footwell. Once this panel is removed, you will have access to the underlying components: here you will find the plastic cover protecting the radiator, which must be removed. After removal, disconnect the pipes connected to the heat exchanger, which can then be extracted from its housing once the securing screws are removed and replaced with a new spare part.
