Start by detaching the cover surrounding the gear lever, then the radio and all other plastic covers, loosening the appropriate screws and unclipping the fasteners. Next, from the engine bay, loosen the screws securing the heat exchanger from inside and pull it out from the cabin. The part can be replaced with a new one, and all removed parts can be reassembled.
