How to replace the heat exchanger on the Volkswagen Jetta 6?

To replace the heat exchanger on the Volkswagen Jetta, open the bonnet to access the bolts securing the exchanger in the engine compartment. Next, go inside the cabin and remove all the plastic panels that make up the dashboard on the driver's side. This will give you access to the exchanger, which must be disconnected from its pipes and connectors and released by loosening the securing bolts. The old exchanger can then be replaced with a new one, reassembling all previously removed parts.
