To replace the remote battery for the Volkswagen Golf 7, lift the key after pressing the designated button on the top of the device. Once the key is raised, use a thin object to pry inside its housing. This will allow you to detach the cover on the back of the device and access the underlying battery, which can now be extracted from its housing and replaced with a new one. After replacing, close the remote again.
