Follow this guide for instructions on preparing the hydraulic lifters before reassembly or installation on the 1.4 engine of the Volkswagen Polo. First, immerse the hydraulic lifters in the engine's lubricating oil to properly lubricate the seals; then, immerse the lifter caps in the oil as shown in the video. At this point, the lifters are ready to be installed on the cylinder head, following the procedure indicated in the engine's instruction manual!
