Today, follow these main instructions to remove and replace the cylinder head gasket on a Volkswagen Polo 1.2. First, open the bonnet of your car and start lifting the engine from below by removing the engine mount (loosening the bolts with a socket spanner); then, unscrew the bolts of the intake manifold, disconnecting the various pipes and wiring to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the timing cover and then the chain, followed by the cylinder head cover; finally, unscrew the bolts of the cylinder head to remove and replace the gasket!
