How to remove and replace the spark plugs on a Volkswagen Polo? Learn how to proceed: open the engine bay and lift the front bonnet, secure it, and disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine and, using a screwdriver or pliers, remove the coils from the cylinder head; then unscrew the spark plugs with a socket wrench and pull them out from the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the extension of the socket wrench into the cylinder head, tighten them, and connect the power coils to each spark plug with the new connectors. Finally, close the engine bonnet.
