This short video tutorial demonstrates how to reset the service light, which indicates the remaining life of the engine oil, on a first-generation Volkswagen Tiguan produced from 2007 to 2016. Start with the vehicle off and press the button on the right side of the speedometer to activate the information display.

Now, press and hold the same button, then turn on the vehicle's instrument panel.

This will prompt the information display to request a reset. Confirm the operation by pressing the "OK" button located on the steering wheel.
