If you want to replace the battery inside the smart key of your first-generation Volkswagen Touran (2003-2015), carefully read the following guide and follow the steps described. First, remove the rear cover with your hands. Once done, locate the battery inside the key and remove it using a flat screwdriver. Finally, insert the new replacement battery (model CR 2032) and correctly reattach the previously removed rear cover.
