How to Open the Glove Compartment of the Volkswagen Golf with a Broken Handle?

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997

If the handle of the glove compartment on the Volkswagen Golf is broken, you may notice that the lock will not unlock, making it impossible to open: do not insert the key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise. Instead, use the key as a lever, inserting it into the gap between the handle cover and its housing. This way, the compartment can be lowered, allowing access to the components inside; however, to resolve the issue, you will need to replace the handle.
