Operation: Replacing the catalytic converter of a Volkswagen Golf 5.

This video is a guide to replacing the catalytic converter on a Golf 5. First, turn off the car, pull the handbrake and open the bonnet using the appropriate lever. Disconnect the battery and jack up the front of the car and rest it on jack stands. Then remove the crankcase located under the engine. Unscrew the ring screw at the end of the catalytic converter, open it with a screwdriver and remove the support Silent Block plate so as to be able to extract the catalytic converter itself. Then screw the plate of the new kit well. The latter will have a clamping sleeve: use it to join the new catalytic converter and the pipe by matching the blue lines of these two elements with the center of the sleeve. Then tighten the nuts with the help of a wrench. At this point mount the metal joint on the catalyst outlet and insert the new catalyst in its position. Open the new ring, mount it on the junction point and tighten it with a size 5 wrench. Finally reassemble the exhaust and screw it back on.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
