In your Volkswagen Golf, the boot may become stuck due to a fault in the lock or the control button located in the cabin. In this case, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open one of the two rear doors, then fold down the backrest of the seat and position yourself inside the boot. Next, locate the panel in the central lower area, open it, and unlock the lock mechanism using a flat-head screwdriver.

The tailgate is now free to be opened.
