All the fuses in the Volkswagen Golf 5 are located within the designated fuse boxes installed in the vehicle. The first box is situated inside the engine compartment, and you will need to lift the plastic cover to access it. This box contains the fuses for the alternator, engine cooling fan, etc. The second box is located inside the cabin, on the left side of the dashboard, accessible only by opening the driver's door.

This box contains the fuses for the air conditioning, windscreen wipers, etc.
