If you own a Volkswagen Jetta Mk7 and notice the service light illuminated on the dashboard, don't worry as it can be quickly cleared using the following manual reset procedure. First, ensure the car is completely off with all doors properly closed. Next, press the ignition button to start only the dashboard. At the same time, press and hold the "0.0" button located at the bottom centre of the dashboard. Release it when prompted to proceed with the reset, confirm the operation, and you're done.
