This guide provides the main instructions for removing and replacing the rear tailgate handle of the Volkswagen Lupo, as well as the Golf. First, open the rear tailgate and start removing the plastic inner panel or trim. Then, unscrew the fixing screws of the handle, disconnecting the lock cable to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new handle, fitting the lock cylinder; connect it and finally reassemble the rear tailgate panel!
