How to remove the glove compartment in the Volkswagen New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

In this video, you will see how to remove the glove compartment from the Volkswagen New Beetle. First, remove the cover of the dashboard spacer on the passenger side using a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching the bodywork. Then, remove the screws with an Allen key. There are three screws at the bottom of the glove compartment and three on the side where you removed the cover. On the inside, you will find two more screws at the top, just below the dashboard. Once all these screws are removed, the glove compartment will come out quite easily. Just be careful with the electrical connector for the interior light, which you will need to disconnect before removing the entire component.
