How to remove the glove compartment on a New Beetle? Follow these steps for removal and replacement: using a plastic lever, detach the trim located on the right side of the dashboard, unscrew the securing screws around its perimeter (remove the plastic rivets). Pull the glove compartment with your hands and remove it from the dashboard; disconnect the power connectors for the lights. Prepare to install the new glove compartment with all its parts (reverse the disassembly process). Check the correct assembly of the parts at the end of the maintenance.
