The cabin air filter in your first-generation Volkswagen Tiguan (2007-2016) must be replaced periodically to avoid unpleasant odours when using the air conditioning. Below, discover how to perform this operation. First, turn off the car and reach the passenger side. At this point, locate the protective cover on the lower left side of the dashboard and remove it. Finally, pull out the old air filter and replace it with the new one. Refit the protective cover, and you are done.
