Operation: How to repair the door latch of a VW Golf 4.

The central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 can malfunction due to its corresponding fuse, which may have burned out over time. To solve the problem, we will need to turn off the car's instrument panel and open the driver's door, as the fuse box containing the fuse for the central locking system is located on the left side of the dashboard. Once the cover is removed, you can remove the 10 amp fuse number 6 using the appropriate pliers and insert the new fuse. Once the box is closed, you can turn on the panel and try to lock the car. We recommend performing this operation by disconnecting the car battery first.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
