How to Repair the Door Lock of a VW Golf 4

The central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 can fail due to a blown fuse over time. To resolve the issue, switch off the ignition and open the driver's door, as the fuse box containing the fuse for the central locking is located on the left side of the dashboard. Once you remove the cover, use the appropriate tool to extract fuse number 6, which is 10 ampere, and insert a new fuse in its place. After closing the fuse box, turn on the ignition and test the locking system. It is advisable to disconnect the car battery before performing this operation.
