This tutorial video shows the procedure for replacing the battery in a Volkswagen Golf 7. The process is quite simple and quick, and it is the same for other car models, only the type of battery differs as the Golf 7 has a start & stop system that requires a different type of battery. The procedure is: open the bonnet, remove the battery support plate using a 13 mm socket with an extension to reach the fixing bolt of the plate, disconnect the negative terminal using a 10 mm spanner, once the negative is disconnected, disconnect the positive. At this point, remove the battery, insert the new one, and close everything by reconnecting the two terminals and refitting the fixing bar.
