How to Replace the Battery in the Volkswagen Polo Remote?

To replace the battery inside the Volkswagen Polo remote, press the button located at the top of the device to lift the key: once the key is lifted, you can lever inside its housing to detach the plastic cover on the back of the remote. When this is removed, the underlying battery can be extracted from its seat and replaced with a new one; then insert the new replacement part and close the remote.
