Removal of the Cooling Tower for the Coolant

Model: Volkswagen Transporter T25, T3, MK 3 - Years 1979-1990

The cooling tower is a component that allows the coolant to be cooled. To remove it, open the engine bay and locate the engine filter box, then clean the inlet of the connected pipe. Identify and unscrew with the appropriate tools the screws and bolts that connect the coolant reservoir to the cooling system. Go underneath the engine bay and disconnect the other pipes that are secured only by spring clips. Once all pipes are disconnected, you can remove the cooling tower. For the installation, follow the same steps in reverse order. This maintenance operation is performed on a Volkswagen Transporter.
