Where are the Fuses on the Volkswagen New Beetle?

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Fuse box

On the Volkswagen New Beetle, all fuses are contained within the dedicated fuse box present in the vehicle: this type of vehicle has a single box, with additional fuses scattered in various locations. This box is located on the left side of the dashboard, accessible only by opening the driver's door: here you can find the fuses that control the number plate light, courtesy lights, instrument panel, etc. Other fuses are located under the steering column and on the car battery: these include the fuses for the window lifts, central locking, etc.
