Obtain the new gear lever suitable for the vehicle in question. Subsequently, as a first step, unhook the gear lever cover by pulling it upwards, but first pressing on the upper side with your two thumbs and then gently lifting it completely. Unhook the screw from the sealing ring of the cover and the gear lever located under the knob of the gear lever and remove it from its seat. Refit the new lever by reusing the old model cover. Re-engage the lever and carefully reposition the cover making sure that the gearbox is free in its movements.
