Replacing the Interior Dome Light Bulb

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Interior dome light bulb

Remove the cover of the dome light to access the bulb holder. Disconnect the dome light by removing the connector. Open the lower compartment of the dome light by pushing it outwards. You can now access the bulb. Choose a new replacement bulb identical to the one being replaced. Remove the faulty bulb and fit the new bulb. Refit the dome light by reconnecting the power cable. Test for correct operation. The same procedure can be carried out on other interior lights, taking care to remove the cover without breaking it.
