Where is the central locking control unit located in the Volkswagen Golf?

In this video, we can see where the central locking control unit is located in the Volkswagen Golf and how to proceed in case we need to replace it, which is a very simple and quick operation. As shown, the central unit in question, also known as the BCM, is located inside the passenger compartment, specifically in the lower left area of the dashboard, right next to the fuse box. To remove it, make sure the key is not inserted first, then remove the small storage compartment and unlock the various fastening clips. Finally, disconnect the connectors and install the replacement unit.

Replacing Battery on Yamaha T-Max 530
