Replacing the Remote Battery for Volkswagen

Press the side button to release the key blade, then pry between the two edges of the casing with your fingers or alternatively use the keyring to open the shell covering the battery compartment. Using a sharp tool, remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR2025, ensuring the positive terminal is facing upwards. Refit the plastic shell and check the remote's proper functioning.
