How to Remove the Blade from the VW Polo Remote Key

If the blade of the key applied to the remote (commonly referred to as the blade) wears out, it is possible to replace just this part rather than the entire remote; the blade is fixed to its supporting hinge by an elastic pin: by opening the blade and positioning it at 90 degrees to the remote, you can access the hole where the fixing pin is located; obtain a small nail that has a slightly smaller diameter than that of the hole, insert it into the hole, and tap until the pin is extracted, then slide out the blade; apply the new one and reinsert the pin.
