How do you change the battery of the remote key for your Volkswagen Polo? In this detailed video, learn how to do it. Take your remote key and use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves of the plastic key case. Pry until the cover opens. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same type and voltage. Replace the illumination LED as shown in the video if damaged. Reassemble the cover on your remote by pressing the key case until you hear it click into place. Check that the remote key is functioning correctly.
