Resetting the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Once you have changed the oil in the Volkswagen Golf, you need to reset the warning on the dashboard display. To do this, sit in the driver's seat and, with the ignition off, press and hold the button marked "0.0" located in the centre of the dashboard, turn on the ignition, and the display will show the message "Reset oil change". Release the button and the procedure will begin; press the button briefly again, and shortly after, a message will appear confirming the reset. Turn off and then turn on the ignition again to further confirm the correctness of the operation.
