In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the glow plugs in a Volkswagen Tiguan, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is completely cold, then open the bonnet, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, and unclip the upper wiring harness clips. Proceed by disconnecting all the power connectors of the glow plugs, apply some penetrating spray, and unscrew the first one using the appropriate socket. Finally, tighten the various replacements using a torque wrench set to 14 Nm, if possible.
