In order to perform a reset of the infotainment system on the Volkswagen ID.3, it is necessary to turn on the instrument panel by inserting the key into the ignition switch. Afterwards, it will be possible to connect a scanner to the OBD port of the vehicle, which is located on the lower left side of the dashboard, next to the steering column. This way, it will be possible to identify any errors in the infotainment software and delete them to solve the problem. Once the operation is complete, the scanner can be disconnected and it can be verified that the infotainment system is functioning again.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
