How to replace the headlight bulb in the Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the headlight bulb in the Volkswagen Polo, open the bonnet to access the screws that secure the headlamp from the top: when these screws are completely loosened, you can pull the headlamp out of its housing and disconnect the connectors attached inside. This way, the old headlamp can be removed from its housing, and the internal protective cover can be detached: then the old bulb can be pulled out from its housing and replaced with a new one.
