How to Replace the Thermostat on a Volkswagen Caddy

Model: Volkswagen Caddy MK 3, 2K - Years 2003-2020

To replace the thermostat on the Volkswagen Caddy, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the right side of the engine block, you will find the coolant hose. You will need to loosen its retaining ring to detach it and then remove the underlying thermostat: this way, you can insert the new replacement part into its housing. After installation, reposition the hose and ensure everything functions correctly.
