How to Change the Rear Light Bulb on a VW New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

Replacing the rear light bulb is very simple and does not require any tools. To access the bulbs and their respective holders, first remove the light unit: open the rear bonnet, locate the cap on the internal cover corresponding to the light, and remove it to access the plastic ring that secures the light unit to the bodywork. Once the ring is unscrewed, pull the light unit from its housing, release the bulb holders by turning them counter-clockwise by about 90 degrees, and proceed with replacing the bulbs (bayonet fitting).
