After having the service operations performed at a garage, you can proceed to reset the service light. On a Volkswagen Golf model 3, to reset the light, do the following: -turn on the ignition; -press and hold the button on the left display until the reset starts; -release the button; -press repeatedly the right button on the display until the reset is complete and the new mileage is set. Once finished, you can turn off and then turn on the ignition to complete the reset procedure.
