How to Remove the Airbag in a Volkswagen Vento?

In this tutorial, see how to remove the airbag in a Volkswagen Polo, an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, to avoid accidental activation, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Start by going inside the cabin, then unclip the upper cover of the steering column, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees, and using a flat-head screwdriver and a mirror, release the retaining clip. Repeat the process on the opposite side, separate the airbag from the steering wheel, and disconnect the connector.
