How to Remove the Window Regulator on VW Jetta

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

If you need to work on the window regulator mechanism of this vehicle, as well as on other models from the same manufacturer, you must remove both the internal door panel and the external body panel: the door is indeed a sort of frame that supports the internal and external paneling; having said that, start by uncliping the window control switch to unscrew the screws underneath, then those on the lower edge of the panel itself, and unclip the pressure clips around the perimeter; at this point, remove the lock and the external handle to take off the external panel; disconnect the motor connector, remove the glass, and then the window regulator to replace it with the new one.
