Today, this brief video tutorial will explain the steps to replace the battery in a Volkswagen Passat key, model B8. The first step is to remove the metal key located at the top of the casing. The second step is to insert a small screwdriver into the slot left by the metal key to open the casing into two parts, as shown in the video.

The third step is to remove the cover and the battery. The fourth step is to insert a new battery.

The fifth step involves reattaching the cover and the metal key to reassemble the key casing.
